In order to perform tax filing, statutory auditing, corporate filing, or corporate advisory services, we collect various types of information from individuals, startups, and corporate entities, including:
- Personal Identification Data: Full name, designations, phone numbers, and email addresses of contact points.
- Government-issued Identifiers: Permanent Account Numbers (PAN), Tax Deduction Account Numbers (TAN), GSTIN, Aadhaar numbers, Director Identification Numbers (DIN), and digital signature credentials (DSC).
- Financial Records: Bank account statements, ledger books, payroll registers, invoice registers, purchase books, asset registers, and historical tax filings.
- Corporate Documents: Incorporation certificate, Memorandum & Articles of Association (MoA/AoA), board resolutions, share allocation registries, and previous audit report disclosures.
2. Purpose of Processing and Use of Data
We process your data exclusively to deliver agreed-upon professional services and maintain regulatory alignments:
- Compiling and filing statutory tax returns (Income Tax, TDS, GST returns).
- Conducting independent statutory audits, tax audits under Section 44AB, or corporate reviews.
- Submitting statutory returns to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and registrar of companies.
- Preparing detailed project reports (DPR), valuations, or processing DPIIT startup certifications.
- Managing client communications, meeting notifications, and providing regulatory alerts.
3. Data Confidentiality & ICAI Code of Ethics
Under Section 140 of the ICAI Code of Ethics, members are bound to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding information acquired during professional services. We assure our clients that:
- We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your financial, corporate, or personal data to marketing networks or third parties.
- Access to raw financial logs, ledger exports, and portal credentials is strictly limited to team members assigned to your specific corporate account.
- Information is only shared with statutory authorities (such as the Income Tax Department, GST Department, MCA, and RBI) under your explicit instruction or when mandated by law.
4. Security Frameworks & Retention
We execute standard electronic, administrative, and physical security measures to shield your confidential data from unauthorized access or alteration:
- Encrypted cloud server systems for hosting ledger documents and tax backups.
- Secure portal access and password management configurations for direct government filings.
- Periodic safety scrubs to remove inactive client digital credentials from systems.
- Data Retention: We retain documents for a duration aligned with statutory requirements under the Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and client service agreements (typically up to 8 financial years).
5. Rights of Clients
You have the right to request access to the data we retain on your behalf, ask for rectifications of incorrect transaction records, or request the return of original physical filings upon settlement of outstanding professional engagements. Note that critical tax records filed historically cannot be expunged from government databases by us.
